Chien-Chi Huang is the founder and Director of Asian Women for Health, a peer-led, community-based network dedicated to advancing Asian women’s health and well-being through education, advocacy and support. She is a breast cancer survivor who turned into a patient advocate, and has professional and personal experience working with people in recovery. She is particularly interested in advancing health equity for all through research and outreach education. Ms. Huang joined the Engage Initiative to share insights from the patient’s perspective along with how to provide culturally responsive and gender-specific care and support for Asian women and girls.
